Job Description Title: Confluent Kafka Engineer/Admin
Location: Remote
Rate: $55/hr to $62/hr C2C
Duration: 6 months
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
" Manage Confluent Cloud environments, clusters, topics, service accounts, API keys, ACLs, and RBAC.
" Implement Kafka governance, onboarding, security, and compliance standards.
" Monitor cluster health, throughput, storage, consumer lag, and performance.
" Administer Schema Registry, Cluster Linking, Stream Governance, and Data Contracts.
" Configure, onboard, and troubleshoot Kafka Connect source/sink connectors.
" Resolve producer, consumer, networking, authentication, and authorization issues.
" Develop Kafka-based microservices, REST APIs, Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams applications.
