Job DescriptionContinuous Improvement Technician Temp to Hire$19/hr 1st shift: 5:30am / 6am - 2:30pm / 3:00pm shift time - Saturday OT expected
We are looking for a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician to support day-to-day improvement activities on the factory floor. This role will focus on building and updating signage, fabricating, and maintaining training/display boards, performing weekly 5S+1 audits across departments, and assisting with the physical implementation of improvement actions. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools and light maintenance, and able to support material handling or workplace adjustments. Forklift certification is a plus, but training can be provided on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build, update, and maintain signage and training/visual boards.
• Perform weekly 5S+1 audits across rotating departments.
• Assist in implementing process improvements on the shop floor (organization, layout, maintenance tasks).
• Support movement of items, materials, and equipment as needed.
Preferred Skills:
• General handy-work or maintenance background.
• Comfortable using hand/power tools.
• Forklift certified (or willing to be trained).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Education: HS / GED Required
