First In Security is accepting applications for licensed security officers for an upcoming large-scale construction site assignment in the Central Texas — Waco/Hillsboro area. This is a long-term position with consistent hours and a professional work environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Staffing entrance gate positions and controlling site access
- Conducting roving patrols of the site perimeter and interior areas
- Verifying credentials and managing authorized entry and exit
- Documenting incidents, observations, and daily activity in written reports
- Communicating professionally with contractors, vendors, and site management
- Responding to site emergencies and coordinating with the site team as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Texas Security License (DPS Level II or higher) — required -Start your individual application to be a security guard - TOPS https://tops.portal.texas.gov/
- Clear criminal background check — required
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site — required
- Prior construction site security experience — strongly preferred
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods outdoors in all weather conditions
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
Shift Availability
- Day shift, night shift, and overnight rotating shifts available
- Full-time positions — consistent weekly hours
- Long-term assignment
Compensation
- $19–$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Overtime and holiday pay available
