Job DescriptionAerotek is Hiring Immediately – Maintenance Technician
Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay: Competitive Pay (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect, install, repair, and rebuild industrial production equipment
Perform preventive, routine, emergency, and unscheduled maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
Maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, fillers, agitators, fans, pug mills, hammer mills, and related equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, equipment manuals, work orders, and electrical schematics
Disassemble, rebuild, align, and reassemble industrial machinery
Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, and equipment modifications using wire feed, rod welding, oxygen/acetylene, and plasma cutting equipment
Splice belts and repair chains for conveyor and material handling systems
Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and lift trucks safely and effectively
Troubleshoot PLCs, 3-phase electrical systems, and identify equipment malfunctions
Assist with heavy equipment operations when needed
Support LEAN manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Manage multiple maintenance priorities while ensuring safety and equipment reliability
Qualifications:
Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and motors
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Welding and fabrication experience required
Experience with belt splicing and chain repair preferred
Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and 3-phase power is a plus
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working around large manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.46 - $27.46/hr.
