In this role, you will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of subsystems and/or systems across a diverse range of technologies — including RF, analog, digital, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optics (EO), and various communication systems.
You will lead a team of TPS developers, collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering, and produce tailored test solutions that meet customer contractual needs, technical requirements, schedule constraints, and cost goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for system and subsystem integration and testing.
- Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Establish functional and technical specifications and standards.
- Solve hardware/software interface problems; define input/output parameters.
- Ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
- Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability.
- Develop test programs and procedures for complete systems and/or subsystems.
- Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
- Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and system-level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance.
- Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.
- Lead a team of Test Program Set (TPS) developers, providing project and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering to coordinate efforts for customer-specific work products.
- Develop test programs using PAWS ATLAS, NI TestStand, and/or LabWindows CVI.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 14 years of experience in a similar systems integration, test engineering, or TPS development role.
- Proven experience developing test programs on LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and/or eCASS systems.
- Strong hardware/software integration skills.
- Working knowledge of standard electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Experience leading technical teams or projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplines (hardware, software, systems).
- U.S. citizenship [and ability to obtain a security clearance, if applicable].
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting RF, analog, digital, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optics (EO) , and/or communication technologies.
- Proficiency in PAWS ATLAS, NI TestStand, and/or LabWindows CVI.
- Experience writing discrepancy reports and performing regression testing.
- Familiarity with deriving testability requirements from system specifications.
