Bedrock Property Management (BPM) is hiring a Property Manager to run the day-to-day operations of one of our affordable housing communities. This role runs the property — from leasing and compliance to maintenance oversight and resident relations.
**About the Role**
You'll manage all aspects of an affordable housing property, including leasing, lease enforcement, maintenance oversight, and resident file compliance under LIHTC, HOME, and other affordable housing programs.
**What You'll Do**
- Process applications, interview applicants, and assess eligibility
- Perform background checks and verify applicant information
- Explain tenant selection policies to applicants and the public
- Manage rent collection, payment agreements, and lease violation notices; prepare eviction documentation when necessary
- Maintain resident files, records, and occupancy statistics
- Ensure ongoing compliance with LIHTC, HOME, and other program requirements
- Conduct annual recertifications of resident income, student status, and family status
- Coordinate unit turnovers and keep vacancy turnaround on target
- Oversee property maintenance, upkeep, and safety standards
**What We're Looking For**
- Experience in affordable housing, property management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of LIHTC/HOME compliance a plus
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
- Comfortable exercising independent judgment within established policies
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
