- Establish, supervise, administer, and monitor quality assurance programs to assure that policies, procedures, specifications, HACCP, GMP’s, BRC, and EQMS standards and regulatory requirements are consistently implemented
- Provide quality and food safety support to both quality and production departments
- Assist the management teams in the maintenance of quality systems
- Product Safety Quality Event corrective action follow-up and monitoring
- Prep and document all audit documents and programs for the plant
- Perform positive release
- External warehouse inventory management
- Complete HACCP record reviews related to Positive Release
- Complete SharePoint updates
- Assist with lab calibrations
- Support the creation of quality trainings by training specialist
- Act as a back up to the Quality Supervisor to support lab technicians
- Non-conforming & Downgrade Tracking for Cheese
- Specification Deviation Management for Cheese
- Provide input on whey powder specification updates
- Manage costumer samples for cheese
- Document Control Program management (not record management)
- Lot track and trace exercise coordination
- Assist with Environmental Monitoring Program
- Manage GMP audit program
- Complete other duties as assigned
