Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role focuses on mechanical and light electrical systems, including conveyors, pumps, mixers, pneumatics, and manual fillers, within an industrial production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, pumps, mixers, pneumatics, and manual fillers, according to established schedules and procedures.
- Diagnose and complete corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and facility equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair light low-voltage electrical systems up to 208V as they relate to equipment and facility operations.
- Support facilities maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring equipment, utilities, and building systems operate safely and reliably.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while performing all maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately to support equipment history and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify equipment issues, prioritize work, and coordinate maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or adjustments to enhance reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Assist with installation, setup, and adjustment of new or modified equipment and systems within the facilities.
- Travel between assigned facilities as needed to provide maintenance coverage and support at all locations.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical skills with demonstrated ability to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Hands-on experience working with conveyors, pumps, mixers, pneumatics, and manual fillers.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, including experience with light low-voltage electrical work up to 208V.
- Proven ability to support facilities maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing building and utility-related systems.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
- Ability to travel between multiple local sites to perform maintenance as required.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated or similar quality-focused manufacturing environment.
- Experience in facilities maintenance across multiple buildings or sites.
- Comfort working in a team where Spanish is commonly spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a bilingual environment.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with production, operations, and other maintenance personnel.
- Willingness to support various types of equipment and facility systems as business needs evolve.

Work Environment
You work in an indoor, air-conditioned industrial environment supporting multiple facilities. The primary site is in Oldsmar, with additional responsibilities at a 25,000 square foot facility in Seminole, a full-stack distribution center in St. Petersburg, a corporate office in Seminole, and a core warehouse location. The role requires traveling between these sites as part of the normal work routine. You operate around manufacturing and facility equipment such as conveyors, pumps, mixers, pneumatic systems, manual fillers, and low-voltage (208V) electrical components. The team functions in a bilingual setting where Spanish is widely spoken, fostering close collaboration in a diverse, fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
