About the Role
\n
We are seeking a SDET – AI Quality Engineering in Chicago, Il to lead test automation for intelligent, scalable software products. This role requires 7+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality engineering, with strong expertise in AI/ML validation. You will define quality strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure reliable customer experiences across web, API, data, and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Design frameworks using Java/Python, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, and PyTest.
- Test REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, databases, event-driven systems, and cloud applications.
- Validate LLMs, chatbots, RAG pipelines, prompts, embeddings, model responses, bias, hallucinations, security, and performance.
- Build CI/CD quality gates using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Implement test reporting, defect management, observability, and risk-based testing.
- Partner with developers, product managers, data scientists, and security teams.

Required Qualifications
\n

- 7+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or quality engineering.
- Proven technical leadership and strong programming skills in Python.
- Expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, SQL, Git, Agile, and CI/CD.
- Experience testing AI/ML or data-driven applications.
