Job Responsibilities
• Dragging brush and feeding chippers
• Jobsite setup, traffic control, and cleanup
• Assisting climbers and bucket truck operators
• Operating chainsaws and hand tools (experience preferred)
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional worksite
• Following crew leadership and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
• Hard-working, dependable, and easy to get along with
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and stay near job sites during the work week
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Pay & Per Diem
• $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
• $130 per day per diem if working an hour or more from your residence.
• Employee is responsible for booking their own lodging near the jobsite
• Full-time work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities
Preferred (Not Required)
• Previous tree service, utility line clearance, or construction experience
• Chainsaw experience
• CDL or DOT medical card (plus, not required)
Work Area
• Southern Indiana
• Illinois along the Indiana border
