Data Profiling & Migration Consultant
Introduction
As a Data Profiling & Migration Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a statewide ERP implementation project. Your main responsibilities will include developing a financial data strategy, assessing current financial and related data, developing data migration plans, and establishing data governance practices. You will focus on data profiling and migration activities to ensure the success of this digital modernization effort.
Responsibilities
- Participate in data discovery and assessment activities to determine current data quality, capabilities, and implications on organizational operations
- Execute data profiling activities and interpret results using tools like Celonis
- Support data engineering activities to map and transform data for ingestion into Celonis
- Assist in developing a data migration plan for the ERP system
- Coordinate with the broader data team, including the data strategy workstream
Requirements
- University Degree
- Data management experience (data profiling, data modeling, data engineering)
- Hands-on experience with SQL or other data analysis tools
- Ability to obtain clearance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment
