What you'll do

\n

\n
• Own and enforce the quality program, and keep policies current as standards and the business evolve

\n

• Lead internal and external audits, including AISC and ISO

\n

• Hold final authority on product shipment and compliance with regulatory and company standards

\n

• Resolve quality issues with vendors, customers, and production teams, and coordinate vendor inspections

\n

• Audit quality checklists and spot-check work on the floor for conformance

\n

• Review customer complaints and satisfaction trends, lead failure analysis and corrective action

\n

• Report findings to senior leadership with corrective action plans and follow-through

\n

• Serve as Management Representative, with direct access to top management on quality issues

\n

\n

\n

What you'll lead

\n

A Quality Department of Quality Technicians and CWIs (Certified Weld Inspectors), with indirect responsibility across operations.

\n

\n

What you bring

\n

\n
• 5-10 years in manufacturing operations, ideally in one of more of these areas: welding, machining, heat treating, blasting, or painting

\n

• Proven track record leading high-performing quality teams and delivering measurable results

\n

• Experience running audits and managing corrective action to completion

\n

• College degree preferred

\n

• Certifications that set you apart: ISO 9001 or AS9100 auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Management, Project Management

\n

• Strong computer skills, including MS Office

\n

• A floor-first style: this role is active all day on the shop floor

\n
