A stable and growing manufacturing facility in the St. Louis area is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and keep production running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who can balance leadership with being on the floor troubleshooting real equipment.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations for a manufacturing facility
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs
- Lead and support a small maintenance team
- Work closely with production to minimize downtime
- Coordinate outside vendors and contractors when needed
- Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical & mechanical)
- Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, or production equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Reliable, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset
