Pay and hours

  • $24–$29 per hour | Paid weekly
  • Second shift premium: +$4.00/hour
  • Mon–Thu, 3:30 pm–2:00 am | OT as needed Fri–Sun

Core responsibilities

  • Own safety: follow procedures, lockout/tagout, and quality rules without exception.
  • Execute PMs and repairs on industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Assemble/install/test electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and apparatus with hand/power/precision tools.
  • Troubleshoot systems and components using meters, scopes, and diagnostics; resolve to root cause.
  • Terminate to breakers, transformers, and related components in compliance with code.
  • Lay out, balance, and align equipment; perform laser alignment and vibration checks.
  • Rig, move, and set equipment safely; complete miscellaneous safety and maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricate using cold‑rolled, stainless, plate, and structural steel; fit valves and mechanical parts.
  • Maintain electrical equipment to applicable country, state, and federal codes.
  • Support both electrical and mechanical rigging/maintenance activities across operations.
  • Follow all safety and quality program processes; complete documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.
  • Exposure to CNC, advanced processing equipment, material handling, press brakes, lifting devices, and saws.
  • Mechanical aptitude; predictive and preventive maintenance experience plus pipefitting knowledge.
  • Competent with oxy‑acetylene and welding; welding certification required.
  • Required: laser alignment and vibration monitoring proficiency.
  • Safe with shop tools, forklifts, and high lifts.
  • Able to work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install/maintain/repair electrical systems and fixtures.
  • VFD programming and PLC troubleshooting capability.
  • Proficient with ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to test electrical systems and verify continuity and safety.
  • Conversational English (spoken/written).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical and environmental requirements

  • Lift 20–50 lbs repeatedly; stand, sit, bend, climb, twist, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Walk 2–5 miles per shift; 20/30 corrected vision; excellent hand/finger coordination and dexterity.
  • Work indoors/outdoors amid temperature changes, loud noise, and vibration.
  • Hazards: moving mechanical parts, electrical current, scaffolding/heights, high heat, and chemicals.
  • Exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
  • Potential air/skin contact with oils and cutting fluids.
