Full-Time | Production / Manufacturing M-Fr, $20/hr
Are you experienced with spray equipment and take pride in a flawless finish? We’re hiring a Door Finishing Technician to join our production team in Saco, Maine. This is a hands-on role in a professional spray booth environment where quality and precision matter.What You’ll Do
- Prep and inspect doors for finishing (cleaning, sanding, surface prep)
- Apply paint and stain using spray equipment to meet spec and finish standards
- Perform touch-ups and rework to ensure consistent, high-quality results
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure customer requirements are met
- Maintain and clean spray guns, tools, and booth equipment
- Track materials and assist with inventory management
- Complete production paperwork and support workflow across the team
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with spray equipment (automotive-style spray guns required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Reliable and safety-focused
Preferred Experience
- Wood finishing, cabinetry, or door manufacturing
- Familiarity with coatings, stains, and spray booth operations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to work in a spray booth environment wearing PPE
