Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
- Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, focusing primarily on mechanical maintenance of machinery responsible for packaging bottles of chemicals
- You will work primarily on weekends, ensuring the seamless operation of palletizers, conveyors, droppers, and other equipment
- This role emphasizes mechanical expertise, with an additional focus on electrical maintenance, including working with pneumatics, motors, and wiring up to 240 volts
Job Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance on packaging machinery, including palletizers and conveyors
- Conduct electrical maintenance tasks such as sensor sensitivity adjustments and resetting PLC faults
- Handle sensor wiring, motor leads, and work with up to 240v electrical systems
- Execute lockout/tagout procedures and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Collaborate with a team to ensure the production area operates efficiently
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in conveyor maintenance, including changing shafts, bearings, sensors, and chains
- Experience with pneumatic systems, including rebuilding and repairing pumps and cylinders
- Hydraulic system expertise, particularly in repairing and replacing air pumps
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Wayne, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
