Job Description:\n\nJob Summary We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our facility. In this role, you will ensure our physical infrastructure runs at peak efficiency while maintaining a safe, compliant environment for our team. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in building systems, experience managing vendor contracts, and a proven track record of reducing operational downtime and support a high volume assembly environment. Candidate we are looking for treats facility management as a tool to maximize manufacturing throughput, minimize unplanned downtime, and support high-volume assembly environment. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Asset Management: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression) and production machinery (pumps, CNC machines, saws, sanders, spray guns and spray booths, glue guns, pneumatic tools). Vendor & Contract Management: Working with the COO to negotiate, and manage contracts with third-party service providers, cleaning crews, and security teams. Safety & Compliance: Aid in maintaining full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local building codes. Participate in the safety committee and regularly audit the facility for hazards. Budgeting & Capital Expenditure: Work with COO to develop and manage the annual facilities budget. Plan and execute capital expenditure (CapEx) projects for equipment upgrades and help with facility expansions. Qualifications and Requirements Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management, property operations, specifically within a manufacturing or high volume assembly plant. Technical Skills: Hands on skills such as welding, machining, CNC knowledge, HVAC, compressed air systems, etc... Square footage of the building is roughly 265,000 square feet where 9,000 square feet is our office and 12,000 square feet is tenant office space. We have about 120,000 square feet of warehouse space that is almost entirely racking system and about 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Building relies on one cleaver brooks boiler for heating and many HVAC roof and ground units for cooling Manufacturing has 2 CNC machines primarily used for 4' x 8' nested based items 1 Lectra fabric cutting machine TIG welding Powder coating numerous dust collection systems where one of them fills up 53ft trailers with wood dust 8 Forklifts (one is a standup) wood working machines such as a rip saw, 5 head moulder, widebelt sanders, 2 panels saws, 2 bandsaws, numerous routers, table saws multiple compressors to supply pneumatic 25+ staple guns, 10+ sanders, 8+ spray guns and fixtures Air assisted airless spray pumps and guns for stains and laquers 2 full time shifts 1st shift 7am - 3:30pm 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm about 115 total employeesJob Summary We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our facility.
