Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitorial Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This full-time position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
What You Will Do
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, production areas, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and recycling
- Replenish restroom and break room supplies
- Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces
- Perform minor building maintenance and repairs as needed
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
What We Are Looking For
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and storage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must successfully pass a background check
