One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to support maintenance and production operations in Rocky Ridge, UT
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
Shift: Days
Responsibilities:

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment

Diagnose electrical faults and equipment failures to minimize production downtime

Install, maintain, and repair motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, and other electrical components

Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals

Perform electrical testing using appropriate meters and diagnostic equipment
-
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects

Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur
-
Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs and inspections
-
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Journeyman Electrician license, Journeyman electrical certification, or equivalent recognized electrical credential is required
-
3+ years of industrial maintenance or electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, motors, and electrical troubleshooting

Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
-
Experience with automated production equipment and industrial controls

Knowledge of PLC programming or advanced PLC troubleshooting
