Gate House Attendant - $17.00 per hour – Bala Cynwyd, PA

Cardinal Point Security Group is hiring a professional Gate Attendant for an upscale townhome community.
This is not a warehouse, parking lot, or warm-body post. You will work in a professional environment where your judgment, communication, and reliability, are respected.
Position details:
Start Date: 8/31/26
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA
Schedule:
Coverage is needed seven (7) days a week
8:00 AM to 2:30 PM AND 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM on a weekend rotation

You will not be sent to a site and expected to figure everything out alone. Our recruiting, training, compliance, scheduling, and operations teams support you throughout onboarding and while you are assigned.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a visible, professional presence at the Main Gate of the complex
- Support visitor management and access-control procedures
- Identify suspicious behavior and report concerns early
- Build professional relationships with residents and visitors
- Respond calmly during emergencies and critical incidents
- Communicate by radio and write clear, factual incident reports
- Arrive on time, look sharp, stay engaged, and remain consistent

Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience working a gate at a residential or business complex. This is critical as there is a high volume of vehicles coming in/out of the complex
- Must be available to work the weekend rotation
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Active cell phone and reliable email access
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Ability to pass required background screening
Preferred Experience
- Prior security experience
- Incident report writing
- CPR, First Aid, or AED certification
