Required Skills; This person shall possess a working knowledge of basic household cleaning compounds. They shall be able to work with minimum supervision. This person needs to be attentive to detail and able to follow written and oral directions. This person must also be able to work well with others.
Physical Requirements: This employee shall be able to walk up four flights of stairs and maintain good balance and coordination. This person must be able to lift 35 pounds and shall be capable of carrying bags and baskets of cloths. This person shall have controlled full articulating range of motion with their elbows, wrists, and fingers. This person shall be capable of standing on their feet for at least four hours at a time.
Description of Duties: this person will be responsible for the cleaning of building offices, hallways, stairwells, all classrooms, all seminar halls and auditoriums, common areas and suites. This includes dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trash, vacuuming carpets, dust mopping, and wet mopping. This person may also be required to move furniture, hang pictures or otherwise organize the spaces under their assign. This person shall also be responsible for cleaning of public restroom, storage areas, emptying trash, plunging toilets, deodorizing, and polishing of chrome and porcelain. This person may also be tasked to clean up other buildings as well.
