Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- At least 6-10 years of total experience and 2-3 years of experience leading projects yourself
- Experience designing and implementing industrial automation and control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panel design, wiring, and commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of UL508A, NEC, NFPA standards, along with electrical calculations and component sizing.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks Electrical is preferred.
- At least working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View, PowerFlex drives, and/or Kinetix servo systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking, motion control, and safety systems.
- Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Lead automation projects from initial concept through commissioning, ensuring schedule, budget, and customer requirements are met.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of material using AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks Electrical.
- Perform electrical design calculations such as conductor sizing, circuit protection, and power distribution.
- Configure and troubleshoot automation hardware including servo drives, PowerFlex drives, and related systems.
- Develop and modify PLC programs, HMI applications, safety systems, and motion control systems
- Review and update electrical documentation to reflect design changes and as-built machine configurations
