Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Join a fintech company as its first dedicated infrastructure and reliability engineer. You will build and scale the cloud foundation, strengthen security, and guide infrastructure direction alongside the engineering leadership and platform team.
What You'll Do

- Write production-quality code and automation to reduce manual work and operational risk.
- Partner with engineering leadership and the platform team to set infrastructure direction across engineering.
What We're Looking For
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or SRE, with a software engineering background and a record of building systems rather than only maintaining them.
- Production experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS, plus familiarity with Docker and Helm.
- Experience building and scaling infrastructure from an early stage, and managing Kubernetes clusters at a scale ranging from a few to a couple hundred clusters.
- Experience at a high-growth Series A to C startup, ideally in fintech or another technology-driven product company.
- Working knowledge of information security and experience with observability, including metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and SLIs or SLOs.
