Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead small to medium-complexity technology projects for a gas company based in Portland, OR. This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days onsite.

Duration: Through September 2027

Location: Hybrid, 2 days onsite

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 to 5pm PST

Key Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium-complexity technology projects and take accountability for successful project delivery.
• Manage project teams consisting of internal resources, external consultants, and third-party partners.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables.
• Track project costs and budgets, including conducting financial analysis and identifying potential variances.
• Define project resource requirements and coordinate resource availability with managers and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring schedules, costs, deliverables, and expectations remain aligned with the overall project plan.
• Identify, document, and actively manage project risks and issues; escalate concerns appropriately when needed.
• Manage project change control in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to project stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT or technology projects from initiation through completion.
• Experience developing project plans, managing budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and external resources.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion with minimal direction.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
