Location: 2 Broadway, New York, NY
Job Type: Contract – 12 Months
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $90 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack.
The role requires a combination of .NET development, IIS administration, database development, application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support experience. The candidate will work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain .NET web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and desktop applications.
- Work with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- Configure and manage Microsoft IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificates.
- Install, configure, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.
- Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment configurations.
- Work with MS SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, and perform basic database maintenance.
- Work with Oracle databases and SQL development.
- Use Git/Git Bash for repository management, branching, cloning, and code updates.
- Build, debug, and troubleshoot applications across development, QA, and production environments.
- Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
- Support application deployments and ensure deployment readiness across multiple environments.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
- Utilize JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.
- Participate in peer code reviews and follow established development standards.
- Collaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and Agile workflows.
- Maintain proper version control and branching strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and application development best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- Experience developing and supporting web applications, APIs, web services, and Windows services.
- Experience with Microsoft IIS configuration and administration.
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, including SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git/Git Bash and source-code management.
- Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting across multiple environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with unit and regression testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

- Experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in development, QA, and production environments.
- Experience with automated application deployment and release processes.
