Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimator/Project Manager role based in Houma, LA. The Estimator/Project Manager will review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for fabrication and repair projects. The role includes developing project budgets, tracking costs, and collaborating with leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within financial targets. Daily tasks involve coordinating with shop personnel and vendors, preparing and following up on bids, and maintaining clear communication with customers about project status, changes, and timelines. The Estimator/Project Manager will also support scheduling, monitor project progress, and help resolve issues that impact quality, cost, or delivery.\n

- Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop, monitor, and control project financials.
- Construction Estimating and Project Estimation skills to prepare accurate bids and scope assessments.
- Strong Communication skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or industrial construction environments is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency with estimating and project management software, as well as basic office productivity tools.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Relevant technical or engineering education, or equivalent experience in fabrication or construction project management.
