DENPRO is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a hands-on networking professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients, and supporting diverse environments across multiple locations.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bryans Road, MD, with up to 50% travel to client sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Diagnose and resolve network issues such as outages, connectivity failures, performance degradation, cabling problems, NIC issues, and TCP/IP configuration errors
- Provide remote and on-site support for client environments, including site-to-site connectivity
- Perform setup, configuration, upgrades, and routine maintenance of network equipment
- Manage and support DNS and DHCP services
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures accurately and thoroughly
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on network troubleshooting experience
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN environments
- Experience configuring and tuning network hardware for performance and reliability
- Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to real-world situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, customer-focused demeanor with excellent client interaction skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in computer networking
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (company vehicle provided for local travel)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CCNA certification strongly preferred
- Self-starter with strong customer service skills and a passion for continuous learning
