This position supports manufacturing operations by performing basic assembly, installation, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and related electronic equipment.
The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions. This is a hands-on production role and does not require advanced IT or engineering expertise.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and test basic components for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and related electronic products.
- Perform basic installation and replacement of components such as cables, batteries, memory, storage devices, screens, and other replaceable parts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify common hardware or installation issues.
- Follow work instructions, procedures, and established repair processes.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of products to identify damage, defects, missing components, or installation issues.
- Perform functional testing of products and document test results.
- Use basic hand tools and equipment as required for assembly and repair activities.
- Assist with product setup, configuration, labeling, and packaging.
- Identify defective or damaged components and report issues to the appropriate team member.
- Support production line activities, including assembly, testing, rework, and repair.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality requirements.
- Complete required production and repair documentation accurately.
- Assist with new product introductions and changes to manufacturing processes.
- Participate in basic process improvement and quality initiatives.
- Perform other related manufacturing and technical support duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical education, associate degree, or relevant training is a plus but not required.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, repair, electronics, computer hardware, mobile devices, or a related environment preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience repairing or assembling computers, laptops, mobile phones, gaming systems, or other electronic devices are encouraged to apply.
