Part time commercial cleaning technician

Role Description The Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitizing duties in school facilities located in Triangle, NC. This on-site role includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and recycling, and cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas. The technician will use district-approved cleaning products and equipment, follow established safety and infection-control procedures, and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate staff. Additional responsibilities may include restocking supplies, assisting with minor event set-up or clean-up, and following daily and weekly cleaning schedules. This is a part-time role that may require evening or weekend hours depending on buildi

• Experience with basic commercial cleaning tasks, including floor care, restroom sanitation, and general facility cleaning.

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including adherence to safety, health, and infection-control guidelines.

\n

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, complete assigned tasks on schedule, and maintain attention to detail.

\n

• Strong reliability, time management, and ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with school staff.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required by the job.

• Prior experience in school, healthcare, or commercial facilities cleaning is beneficial.

\n

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

\n

• Willingness to complete any required background checks and district training.

\n
