Job DescriptionWe are looking for an accomplished Chief Information Officer to provide strategic technology leadership for a long-term contract opportunity in Pella, Iowa. This role will guide enterprise IT direction, strengthen security practices, and align technology investments with business priorities. The ideal candidate brings executive-level leadership, a strong background in infrastructure and cybersecurity, and the ability to drive agile, high-impact initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the organization’s technology roadmap to support operational goals and long-range business strategy.
• Provide executive oversight for IT operations, ensuring reliable infrastructure, secure systems, and effective service delivery across the enterprise.
• Direct cybersecurity planning and risk management efforts, including the governance of network protection measures such as firewall environments.
• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate technology needs, prioritize investments, and translate business objectives into scalable IT solutions.
• Champion agile ways of working by guiding teams in iterative delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement practices.
• Establish IT policies, performance standards, and governance frameworks that promote compliance, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Oversee vendor relationships, technology budgets, and resource planning to ensure effective delivery of critical initiatives.
• Mentor technology leaders and build a high-performing IT organization capable of supporting evolving enterprise needs.• 7+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles, including enterprise-level strategy and decision-making responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT strategy development and execution within complex business environments.
• Strong executive leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk mitigation, and secure infrastructure management.
• Experience supporting and governing Cisco ASA Firewall environments or similar enterprise network security platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to lead technology teams in agile delivery models.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills with a track record of aligning IT initiatives to business goals.
