Complete Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall upkeep of a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including Life Safety Code requirements.

Manage facility inspections, equipment maintenance, and emergency preparedness procedures.

Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and outside contractors.

Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Collaborate with facility leadership to address maintenance needs and ensure regulatory readiness.

Manage maintenance budgets, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Qualifications

Previous Maintenance Director or supervisory experience required.

Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize projects and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
