Job Functions:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for simple and triaged complex system and application issues for staff and external vendors by responding to requests, researching issues, recommending resolutions, and coordinating with internal IT teams, management, and vendors to ensure timely outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage all technology‑related onboarding activities for new hires in partnership with Human Resources and managers, delivering a smooth, consistent onboarding experience and ensuring appropriate system access is established.
- Develop, maintain, and update documentation for applications and Technology Services processes, including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation, training materials, user manuals, and records management best practices.
- Support the maintenance of internal collaboration platforms, including SharePoint and Confluence sites, for the Technology Services team to ensure current, accurate, and accessible information.
- Partner with vendors and business stakeholders to ensure system access is properly documented, audited, and maintained in alignment with evolving business needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor small project plans for the Technology Services team by identifying tasks, milestones, schedules, and resource needs; communicate progress and coordinate efforts with IT teams and vendors.
- Run and analyze reports from incident and problem management systems to identify common issues and collaborate with IT teams on prioritizing and implementing long‑term solutions.
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Technology Services team, act as an IT advocate for assigned business areas, and participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
The Technology Services Administrator provides frontline technical assistance and operational support for
computer systems, hardware, and software used by Vanguard Charitable staff. This role serves as a primary point of contact for resolving technology issues via email, chat, and phone, partners with internal IT teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of requests, and advocates for business users. The position is also directly responsible for coordinating technology onboarding activities to ensure new team members have appropriate system access and a seamless start both remotely and in office environments.
- Knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and common enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and demonstrating strong problem‑resolution and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
- Skilled in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- 2+ Years relevant experience providing technical support or IT services in a professional environment preferre
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
