Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Overview Summary Summit Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Associate to support quality control operations in a warehouse and distribution environment. This role focuses on inspecting merchandise, identifying defects, verifying product accuracy, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards before storage or shipment. Job Details

- Pay Range: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, stored, and outgoing merchandise for damage, defects, and quality concerns.
- Verify product descriptions, quantities, labels, and packaging against order or inventory information.
- Document inspection findings and report damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise.
- Separate and identify products that do not meet quality standards according to site procedures.
- Assist with returns, rework, repackaging, and corrective actions as directed.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate issues to supervisors and warehouse teams.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.
- Support other warehouse quality and inventory tasks as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Previous quality inspection, warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product damage or discrepancies.
- Basic computer, scanning, and documentation skills preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate findings, and work independently or with a team.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to quality and safety.
Work Environment Warehouse/distribution setting with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling merchandise.
