Primetime Afterschool Site Assistant (Part-Time, Seasonal)

Position Summary The Primetime Site Assistant works directly with school-age children, leading activities, supporting program operations, and promoting YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This is a part-time position that follows the school-year calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily educational, recreational, and fitness activities
- Lead small groups of up to 15 children
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming program environment
- Support positive behavior management and YMCA character development
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and school personnel
- Attend required trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma required; coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred
- Experience working with children or youth programs preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation required
