RED Global is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large enterprise environment spanning data centers, colocation facilities, Azure cloud, WAN, campus/LAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure.
\n
\n
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on implementation, operations, Tier 3 troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and connectivity services.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
• Provide senior-level operational support and Tier 3 troubleshooting across enterprise network, connectivity, security, and Azure cloud environments
\n
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, certificates, authentication, logging, and high availability
\n
• Design, configure, and support Azure networking and Cisco Catalyst/Meraki switching
\n
• Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, QoS, redundant paths, iBGP, eBGP, EIGRP, and TCP/IP
\n
• Administer DNS, DHCP, IP address management, subnetting, segmentation, and related network services
\n
• Support remote-access and site-to-site VPN environments, including Zscaler and GlobalProtect
\n
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents across data center, branch, WAN, Internet edge, and cloud environments
\n
• Support network implementations, maintenance, site surveys, and other infrastructure initiatives
\n
\n
Required Qualifications:
\n
• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
\n
• Senior-level experience supporting complex production network environments
\n
• Strong routing and switching knowledge
\n
• Hands-on firewall and network security experience
\n
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise connectivity and network incidents
\n
• Ability to work on-site in downtown Chicago Tuesday through Thursday
\n
\n

• Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect
\n
• Cisco Catalyst
\n
• Cisco Meraki
\n
• Microsoft Azure networking
\n
• Zscaler
\n
• BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, VRFs, VLANs, STP, and QoS
\n
• DNS, DHCP, IPAM, subnetting, and network segmentation
\n
\n
Some travel to satellite offices may be required for site surveys, implementations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
