Duties:

\n

\n
• Keep track and maintain control of daily requests and sample developments

\n

• Track the timelines of vendors by following up and logging the information into the WIP on excel

\n

• Flat sketch new designs (illustrator) as instructed from the design team

\n

• Measure sample to make fit call outs from fit sessions

\n

• Add call outs of fit comments to send to vendors

\n

• Request new fabric or trim sourcing request to overseas vendors & follow up statues

\n

• Create style numbers and update development data

\n

• Maintain/organize a system for storing samples by sorting samples onto the designated racks

\n

• Create Cad line sheet (illustrator) for production orders in work

\n

\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Must understand the basics of garment & sewing construction

\n

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or related software

\n

• Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

\n

• Must be able to effectively communicate with Supervisors and Vendors via written and verbal.

\n

Education and Experience:

\n

\n
• 0-1 + years of related garment industry experience

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or equivalent combination of education and experience

\n

• Ability to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment

\n
