Our client, a global automotive OEM, is seeking a Software Integration & Development Engineer to support the deployment, validation, and integration of software within next-generation high-performance electric vehicles. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring development software is successfully flashed, integrated, validated, and released across prototype and pre-production vehicle fleets.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ECU flashing, embedded software deployment, vehicle diagnostics, CAN communication networks, software troubleshooting, and vehicle-level validation activities. This role requires daily interaction with prototype vehicles and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams, including both local and international development groups.Key Responsibilities- Software Integration & Deployment- Flash development and release software onto prototype and pre-production vehicles.- Execute software updates across multiple vehicle ECUs and domains.- Validate successful software deployment and system functionality after installation.- Support software release activities and maintain software version control documentation.Vehicle-Level Validation- Perform software integration testing on high-performance electric vehicles.- Verify functionality of vehicle systems following software updates.- Conduct system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for software integration issues.- Support vehicle commissioning, configuration, and readiness activities.Diagnostics & Debugging- Investigate software, calibration, communication, and system-level failures.- Analyze CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and diagnostic data to identify issues.- Utilize engineering tools to capture logs, monitor vehicle behavior, and support issue resolution.- Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to resolve defects.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with software development, systems, validation, and calibration teams.- Partner with global engineering organizations to validate and release software updates.- Participate in issue triage discussions and provide technical recommendations.- Support vehicle testing events both on-site and at remote test locations.Engineering Development Support- Develop scripts, utilities, or tools that improve integration and validation workflows.- Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and issue-tracking records.- Support continuous improvement initiatives for software deployment and validation processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
