Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Quality Technician in Hauppauge, NY. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering weekly pay and a chance to expand your experience. Job Description:

The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to structured quality-assurance processes.

  • Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to authorized vendors as appropriate.

  • Engage management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.

  • Works with team to support new product quality plan implementations.

  • Understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Role requires fluent level of English (written and verbal)

  • Ability to learn technical information

  • Exp with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
