This role is based in New York. We work hybrid.

In This Role, You Will
\n
\n
• Build and ship across our iOS app, backend services, and internal tooling
\n
• Take specified work and carry it to production without needing it broken down further
\n
• Use AI coding agents as your primary development tool, and improve how the team uses them
\n
• Build and maintain agent-facing surfaces of the platform
\n
• Work directly with the founders, with no layer in between
\n
\n
You'll Thrive In This Role If You
\n
\n
• Have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally full-stack and ideally in a startup environment; experience as a founder or founding engineer is highly valued
\n
• Use AI coding agents daily on production work rather than as an experiment
\n
• Are proficient in Swift, TypeScript or Python, and can pick up the others as needed
\n
• Have familiarity with MCP, or a real appetite to learn it
\n
• Own problems end-to-end and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done
\n
• Are an effective, high throughput operator who can drive multiple concurrent projects and prioritize ruthlessly
\n
• Have shipped software that real users depended on
\n
\n
Compensation and Arrangement
\n
\n
Part-time and hourly to start, $45 to $70 per hour depending on experience, with a path to full-time. We start this way because a few weeks of real work tells us both more than an interview process does.
