Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical engineering projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will manage project execution, oversee electrical system design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain strong client relationships, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical building systems, project management, and compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects through all phases, from planning and design to construction completion.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Design and coordinate electrical building systems, including:

- Power distribution systems
- Lighting and lighting controls
- Emergency power systems
- Low-voltage systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and technology teams to ensure integrated project designs.
- Review engineering calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and construction documents for quality and accuracy.
- Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting field observations, and participating in project meetings.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and BIM professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development and proposal preparation.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement effective solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and successful project outcomes.
