Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician supports manufacturing operations by auditing documentation, maintaining batch and calibration records, and coordinating updates to quality-related documents. This role combines time on the production floor with computer-based work, ensuring that records are accurate, current, and compliant with internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Audit various quality and production documents, including batch records and calibration records, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
- Some positions require hands-on inspection and dimensinal measuring- calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Update batch records and calibration records, making sure all documentation is current and properly organized.
- Review existing documents for special projects, identify items that need correction or updating, and ensure changes are implemented and documented.
- Work directly with production team to clarify requirements, gather missing information, and bring records up to date.
- Coordinate between different groups, such as production and quality teams, to resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment on document changes.
- Spend time on the production floor to understand processes, verify information, and support quality-related activities in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Use Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications, including Excel, to create, update, and manage reports and documentation.
- Follow established quality assurance, quality control, and manufacturing procedures while identifying opportunities to improve documentation practices.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in quality assurance, quality control, or as a quality technician, with exposure to documentation and record-keeping in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in a production or cleanroom setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with Office 365 applications and comfort working on a computer for approximately 50–60% of the workday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related technical roles within manufacturing or microelectronics.
- Experience performing audits of various records and documentation in a regulated or process-driven environment.
- Strong computer skills beyond basic Microsoft Office use, including familiarity with Office 365 collaboration tools.
- Comfort coordinating between different groups and facilitating updates to shared documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Work Environment
This position is based in a cleanroom manufacturing and production setting focused on microelectronics. The work involves both time on the production floor and at a computer workstation, with approximately 50–60% of the day spent using Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, with training also conducted on first shift. The environment requires adherence to cleanroom protocols, and employees must be comfortable wearing cleanroom attire while performing their duties.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
