Job Title: Systems Engineer (Cameo)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support a cleared program, focusing on requirements management, traceability, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience with Cameo, particularly in requirements traceability, and the ability to interpret and align technical specifications with certification standards. This role requires active participation in the development and validation of system requirements, as well as contributing to system documentation and compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Cameo to manage and trace requirements within a structured requirements database.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTMs).
- Interpret and analyze technical specifications and ensure alignment with certification requirements.
- Review system artifacts against formal certification documentation and standards.
- Author requirements compliance statements to demonstrate adherence to program requirements.
- Draft and contribute to system-level documentation.
- Analyze Problem Reports (PRs) related to requirements and develop recommended resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
Essential Skills
- Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Intermediate experience with Cameo, including requirements modeling and traceability.
- Experience working within a requirements database and trace environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical specifications and certification documents.
- Experience developing traceability matrices and compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes and lifecycle methodologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or other cleared programs.
- Familiarity with requirements verification & validation (V&V) processes.
- Prior experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
- Experience working with certification or regulatory frameworks.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located in Grand Rapids, MI.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $80.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
