Maintenance Director

We are dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and comfortable home for our senior residents. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Director who takes pride in their work and is passionate about providing high-quality, timely, and compassionate support to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform day-to-day maintenance operations of the community, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping.

• Ensure the physical environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained in accordance with state regulations and company standards.

• Manage maintenance staff, schedules, and work orders.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the property.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.

• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports.

• Support safety and disaster preparedness programs, including staff training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, with 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role (senior living or healthcare setting a plus).

• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and OSHA regulations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

• Ability to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
