The Opportunity
\n
The EDI Systems Coordinator is responsible for the integration, coordination, and ongoing support of All State Fastener’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) trading partners. This role helps ensure accurate and reliable data flow between our trading partners, custom EDI applications, and ERP systems, including INxSQL and Prophet 21 (P21).

Working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Accounting, and IT, this position plays an important role in resolving EDI and ERP-related issues, supporting new trading partner integrations, and improving the systems and processes that support our day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do
\n
\n
EDI Partner Onboarding & Coordination
\n
• Manage the onboarding process for new EDI trading partners, including mapping, testing, validation, and implementation.
\n
• Develop and maintain EDI maps for standard document types, including 850, 855, 856, 810, 997, and others.
\n
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and other trading partners to troubleshoot data exchange issues and ensure successful integrations.
\n
• Maintain documentation related to trading partner requirements, mappings, configurations, and testing.
\n
System Maintenance & Monitoring
\n
• Monitor the daily health and performance of the EDI environment and related ERP integrations.
\n
• Identify, investigate, and resolve EDI transaction errors and system issues in a timely manner.
\n
• Troubleshoot failed transactions, data discrepancies, and integration issues that impact daily operations.
\n
• Perform routine system maintenance and support system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
\n
• Help ensure accurate and consistent data flow between EDI applications, trading partners, and ERP systems.
\n
Business & Technical Support
\n
• Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Accounting, and other departments to investigate and resolve EDI and ERP-related issues.
\n
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and integration issues involving customers, vendors, orders, inventory, shipments, invoices, and other business data.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to business users on EDI-related matters.
\n
• Communicate system issues, resolutions, and potential business impacts to appropriate stakeholders.
\n
Development & Process Improvement
\n
• Support the development, testing, and maintenance of EDI processes and custom applications.
\n
• Assist with SQL queries and data analysis used to investigate system and transaction issues.
\n
• Assist with Python scripting for automation and data processing when applicable.
\n
• Support API integrations and other data exchange methods that complement traditional EDI processes.
\n
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve EDI workflows, and increase supply chain efficiency.
\n
• Maintain documentation of EDI processes, mappings, configurations, and issue resolutions.
\n
\n
What You’ll Bring
\n
• 3+ years of hands-on EDI experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
\n
• Strong working knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
\n
• Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI mappings and transactions.
\n
• Experience with EDI Value-Added Networks (VANs) and connectivity methods such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, and similar protocols.
\n
• Proven experience onboarding, testing, and supporting EDI trading partners.
\n
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably INxSQL and/or Prophet 21 (P21).
\n
• Working knowledge of SQL and basic relational database concepts.
\n
• Familiarity with custom EDI applications, middleware, or other integration platforms.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
\n
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
\n
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and reliability.
\n
• Experience with Python scripting for automation and data processing is preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and invoicing, is preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with API integrations is preferred.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
\n
