Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our apartment complex, ensuring all facilities are in top-notch condition. You will lead a team of maintenance staff, perform repairs, and manage preventative maintenance tasks, all while providing outstanding service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and staff schedules.
- Perform routine inspections of the property to identify issues and necessary repairs.
- Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
- Lead preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
- Respond to resident requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring maintenance team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Lead Maintenance Technician experience in the multifamily industry.
- Must participate in on-call rotation for nights/weekends.
- Universal EPA Certification.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
