Must be Local to the Richmond, VA area (no relocating candidates at this time). Alternate weeks in Richmond VA office; other week remote. (5 days in office, 5 days remote, repeating). No 100% remote

Required:
\n
Programming – Java 3+ years of professional Java development, proficient in Java 17 , with a strong foundation in OOP, generics, and concurrent programming.
\n
Programming – Test Automation Demonstrated ability to build automated test suites (unit, integration) using JUnit 5, Mockito, and to integrate these tests into CI CD pipelines.
\n
Micro services & APIs Experience designing, implementing, and deploying micro services that expose well documented REST APIs, leveraging Spring Boot native tools
\n
\n

The DVI Grid Solutions team has developed a software platform used by Electric Utilities for voltage control. The position/team continues to enhance and maintain this platform, improving scalability, reliability, and performance, and adding features / functionality as requirements are identified by our customers.

Required Years of Experience:
\n
o Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience
\n
\n
Education:
\n
o Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency required
\n
o Preferred: Bachelors – Computer Science or Computer Engineering
\n
\n
