JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance / EAM Technician works with the fields/facilities teams to ensure PMs (preventive maintenance) schedules contain the proper equipment (and Routes where needed), the right Task Plans, due dates, frequencies, regulatory/safety critical indicators, and that PM work orders are generated regularly as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Maintain Master Equipment List (MEL) in EAM that is the single source for the Master Equipment List (required by OSHA) that is on P&IDs and represents the actual equipment and status of the physical equipment in the field.
- Properly code equipment that has been risk-assessed and proven to have EH&S repercussions upon failure as Safety Critical (SCE).
- Work with engineers, the AsBuilt team, and maintenance leads to add/modify/remove equipment from the system to match drawings and datasheets on TMOCs, EPTs and equipment requests (for non-MOC changes) from operations.
- Ensures equipment has the correct descriptions and metadata, and that SCE is coded correctly in EAM.
- Works with the fields/facilities to ensure PMs (preventive maintenance schedules) contain the proper equipment (and Routes where needed), the right Task Plans, due dates, frequencies, regulatory/safety critical indicators, and that PM work orders are generated regularly as required.
- Update and document all field changes as requested/needed.
- Provide additional documentation/project support as requested by field.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Familiarity managing equipment lists and coding safety critical equipment per OSHA requirements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry
- Prior experience working on the North Slope
