RFP49672 – Information Technology Firewall Engineer – Idaho Falls, ID – 8 to 9 months
ReNuke Services/Oak Ridge Technologies is seeking an Information Technology Firewall Engineer for our client’s site in Idaho Falls, ID!
Position Purpose:
Implement IPv4/IPv6 dual stack on Palo Alto firewalls. Develop firewall IPv6 rulesets on Palo Alto Panorama and deploy to Palo Alto firewalls throughout the environment. The IPv6 rulesets will be based off rulesets currently in place for IPv4 assets.
Breakdown of Tasking:
Build and Deploy Firewall Rules - 70%
Build IPv6 Interfaces on Firewall Devices - 10%
Validate and Troubleshoot Firewall Traffic - 20%
Work Schedule:
Mon-Thurs 7am -530pm Mountain Standard Time
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience or equivalent.
Additional SHQ&S Requirements:
Knows and complies with environmental, safety, health, and pollution prevention regulations, policies, and procedures for
this position. Ensures own safety and safety of coworkers. Reports unsafe work conditions to immediate manager.
Ensures that the five core functions of the Integrated Safety Management System are understood and applied when
performing job duties. Ensures that operational excellence is achieved through appropriate implementation of conduct of
operations.
