Job DescriptionPower BI ServiceNow Data Integration role
Extract data from ServiceNow using:
REST APIs
Direct database views
Scheduled exports / Data sources
Develop and maintain data pipelines between ServiceNow and Power BI
Work with ServiceNow tables:
Incident
Change
Request
CMDB
Power BI Development
Design and build interactive dashboards and reports
Develop data models (star/snowflake schema) in Power BI
Create DAX measures and calculated columns
Data Transformation
Optimization
Use Power Query (M language) for data cleaning and transformation
Optimize datasets for performance and scalability
Implement incremental refresh and data refresh scheduling
Reporting
Insights
Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
Build executive dashboards and operational reports
Automate report distribution via Power BI Service
Collaboration
Work closely with ServiceNow developers/admins and Business stakeholders
Gather reporting requirements and translate into technical solutions
Governance
Security
Implement Row Level Security (RLS) in Power BI
Ensure data compliance and security policies
Maintain documentation for reports and data flows
Technical Skills
Strong experience in Power BI (Desktop Service)
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
Experience with ServiceNow data model

Knowledge of:
REST APIs
JSON/XML data handling
SQL proficiency (joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
