- Learn how to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Layout, drill, and tap back panels
- Learn how to properly use shop equipment
- Prepare wire labels and chicklets
- Work towards proficiency using the following hand tools
- wire strippers
- wire cutters
- Screwdrivers
- tape measures
- power tools
- drills
- Work towards proficiency using the following skills:
- Ability to use email.
- label printing software
- Follow direction.
- Ask questions.
- Begin to understand wiring schematics.
- Beginning to understand BW Way of building and wiring a control panel.
- Keep shop area clean and organized at all times.
- Organize job materials, keep all job items together. Know what to keep, what can be recycled, and what can be placed in stock for other jobs.
- Other duties as assigned.
